What is at stake ???
When the war between the Khalsa and the British in Indo-Punjab began in 1849, even the Sikhs probably did not know what was at stake. It was only after the war that it became clear that Punjab had not only lost the war and political power, but also had to compromise with its principles.
The two things that Guru Sahib gave to the Khalsa were: Shastra and Shastra
1. Because the British wanted to rule the Punjab for a long time, they had to surrender their arms to the Khalsa after the victory, so that the Khalsa could not revolt.
2. After that the British set fire to the rules of Punjabi from the villages and towns of Punjab so that the Khalsa could be mentally enslaved so that the Khalsa could not even 'think' of rebellion.
3. In order to separate the Khalsa from Akal Purakh, a network of incarnate camps was set up in the Punjab. The Khalsa who was previously not accountable to anyone but Akal Purakh, went to the camps and started rubbing his nose in front of the incarnations. Rebellion was a distant dream.
4. The British opened their own schools and washed the minds of the next generations of the Khalsa in such a way that they went to these schools and started serving the British. They enlisted in the British army and started killing their own people.
Sher Singh Atariwale did not even think before the war what was at stake. He didn't really want to fight. Even then, the Khalsa pressured him to fight the British. But then he fought hard.
As usual, Sher Singh Atariwala decided to fight with Diwan Mulraj, but Diwan Mulraj could not trust Sher Singh. Exhausted, Sher Singh left Multan and headed north. The British first defeated Mulraj and then defeated Sher Singh. Mulraj had a lot of treasure but lacked an army. Sher Singh had a large army but lacked treasury. If the two had fought together, they would probably have given everything to the British because it was Kalle Sher Singh who had beaten the British in the battle of Chelianwala. The British also had a good parade in Ramnagar.
If the farmers lose now then what is at stake along with the land will be known only later because after the war the victorious party will come with full force for the people who raised their heads ....... Delhi Not seeing who is a comrade and who is a Sikh ..... shoes will be equal to all ... so leave your ego and walk together ......
May Akal Purakh do good
